La Corsa has the perfect way to end your cycling season. Join us in Tuscany for a great week of Fall riding Italian style. Our base, the luxurious Villa Casagrande is located outside of Florence on the Arno river, nestled between the hills of the Chianti and the Pratomagno mountains. Each day we go on a variety of rides through the scenic countryside, cycling from winery to castle and among the many characteristic towns that dot the hillsides. The roads are gorgeous, smooth and traffic free. The weather is perfect for cycling. The food couldn't be better and the climbing will reward you for the hours you spent training during the Summer. Joining the locals on their traditional Sunday club ride will be the highlight of your week. And what would a visit to Tuscany be without a stop at the local bike shop owned by Franco Chioccioli, past winner of the Giro d'Italia? We know of no area in Italy with more to offer or better riding all in one place.
Daily Loops 30 to 75 miles After an exciting day, we dine in wonderful, local restaurants and relax at our villa complete with comfortable rooms and salons furnished with antiques, a large swimming pool, private spa facilities, lovely formal gardens and its own winery. We can arrange for wine tastings, too. Bring your riding and non-riding friends to our favorite home away-from-home. An easy walk to the town's train station, Florence and Arezzo are a short ride away with frequent service. Tuscany's mild climate is perfectly suited for Fall riding.
